Was ist der AStA?

Der Allgemeine Studierendenausschuss (AStA) vertritt die Studierenden der Viadrina gegenüber der Universität. Er ist außerdem zuständig für die Förderung von Projekten studentischer Initiativen.

Der AStA wird dabei jährlich vom Studierendenparlament (StuPa) gewählt und besteht aus derzeit neun verschiedenen Referaten.

Jedes Referat hat einen Zuständigkeitsbereich, um das es sich kümmert.

Bewirb dich als AStA-Referent*in für Gesundheit und Sport

Folgendes gehört unter anderem zu dem Aufgabenbereich des Referates:

• Förderung des Sportes im Rahmen des Hochschulsportes, insbesondere Durchführung von Sportveranstaltungen
• Koordination und Abrechnung des AStA-Shops
• Koordination und Weiterentwicklung des Verleih-Service des AStA
• Mitgliedshaft im Vorstand des USC und Teilnahme an den Sitzung im USC

So kannst du dich bewerben:

Du musst einen Wahlvorschlag einreichen. Diesen Wahlvorschlag musst du dann digital als E-Mail an wahlleitung-studis(at)europa-uni.de senden.

Zudem muss du deine Bewerbung gedruckt im AStA-Büro einreichen.

Was muss der Wahlvorschlag erhalten?

1. Bezeichnung des Organs (AStA Referent*in für Gesundheit und Sport)
2. Name und Vorname
3. Geburtsdatum
4. Matrikelnummer
5. Fakultät
6. Adresse und E-Mail-Adresse
7. Unwiderrufliche schriftliche Erklärung der Annahme der Wahl

Hiermit erkläre ich die unwiderrufliche Erklärung der Annahme der Wahl für [Organ, Gremium für das du dich bewirbst].

Zudem empfehlen wir dir, dass du ein Motivationsschreiben und einen Lebenslauf deiner Bewerbung beifügst.

Wie läuft die Bewerbung ab?

Nachdem du deine Bewerbung fristgerecht eingereicht hast, laden wir dich zur Sitzung des Studierendenparlament ein.

Auf der Sitzung des Studierendenparlaments findet dann die Wahl statt. Dort stellst du dich dem Studierendenparlament vor. Begründe deine Motivation, warum du kandidieren möchtest und warum du für das Amt, auf das du dich bewirbst, geeignet bist. Anschließend können die Abgeordneten des Studierendenparlaments dir Fragen stellen.

Für die Wahl des AStA findet im Anschluss an die Vorstellung eine interne Aussprache statt. Die Abgeordneten (und die amtierenden AStA Referent*innen) beraten über die Bewerbungen. Anschließend findet dann die Wahl der Referent*innen statt.

What is the AStA?

The General Student Committee (AStA) represents the students of the Viadrina University vis-a-vis the university administration. It is also responsible for supporting projects initiated by student initiatives.

The AStA is elected annually by the Student Parliament (StuPa) and currently consists of nine different departments.

Each department has a specific area of responsibility it oversees.

The application documents must be submitted by January 17th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. to asta(at)europa-uni.de.

Apply for the AStA department for Health and Sports

The responsibility of this department, among others:

• promotion of sports within the framework of university sports, in particular the organization of sporting events
• Coordination and accounting of the AStA shop
• Coordination and further development of the AStA rental service
• Membership on the board of the USC and participation in USC meetings

How to apply?

You must submit a nomination proposal. This nomination proposal must be sent digitally by email to wahlleitung-studis(at)europa-uni.de.

In addition, you must submit your application in printed form to the AStA office.

The nomination proposal must be submitted by January 17th, 2026 (11:59 p.m.).

What must the nomination proposal include?

1. Name of the body/position (AStA department for Health and Sports)
2. First and last name
3. Date of birth
4. Student ID number
5. Faculty
6. Address and email address
7. An irrevocable written declaration of acceptance of the election

Please add a sentence such as the following:

I hereby irrevocably declare my acceptance of the election for [body/committee you are applying for].

We also recommend that you include a letter of motivation and a CV with your application.

How does the application process work?

After you have submitted your application on time, you will be invited to a meeting of the Student Parliament.

At the Student Parliament meeting, the election will take place. You will introduce yourself to the Student Parliament, explain your motivation for running, and outline why you are suitable for the position you are applying for. Afterwards, the members of the Student Parliament may ask you questions.

Following the presentation, there will be an internal discussion regarding the election of the AStA. The members of the Student Parliament (and the current AStA officers) will deliberate on the applications. Subsequently, the election of the officers will take place.
