Was ist ERUA?

Die European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) ist ein Netzwerk von acht zukunftsorientierten europäischen Universitäten wozu auch die Viadrina zählt.
Gemeinsam arbeiten sie daran, die Zukunft der Universitäten in Europa innovativ zu gestalten und Lehre, Lernen, Forschung und gesellschaftliches Engagement aus einer kritischen, europäischen und inklusiven Perspektive neu zu denken.

Was ist das ERUA Local Board?

Das Local Board ist eine lokale Studierendengemeinschaft, die es an jeder ERUA-Partneruniversität gibt.
An der Viadrina sind alle Studierenden automatisch Teil des Local Boards (siehe neue Studierendensatzung, beschlossen vom Studierendenparlament). Alle Studierenden der Viadrina sind eingeladen, an den Local Board-Sitzungen und den Wahlen der Local Board-Vorsitzenden sowie der ERUA Student Board-Vertreter*innen teilzunehmen. Das Ziel des ERUA Local Board ist es, Studierende zusammenzubringen, die sich international engagieren möchten, Veranstaltungen zu organisieren und die Werte von ERUA zu vertreten.

Was ist das ERUA Student Board?

Das ERUA Student Board vertritt die Stimme der Studierenden aller acht ERUA-Universitäten in den Entscheidungsprozessen von ERUA.
Jede Universität wählt zwei Vertreterinnen und einen Stellvertreter*in in das Student Board.

Das Student Board wählt anschließend drei seiner Mitglieder in den ERUA Steering Committee (ein Gremium aus Vize-Rektorinnen, Verwaltungsmitarbeiterinnen und Studierendenvertreter*innen).

Was sind deine Aufgaben?

• Teilnahme an monatlichen Meetings und mindestens einem Präsenztreffen pro Jahr (Reisekosten werden übernommen)
• Vertretung der Viadrina-Studierenden im ERUA Student Board
• Einsatz für die Interessen der Studierenden innerhalb des Netzwerks
• Zusammenarbeit mit dem ERUA Student Engagement Team
• Berichterstattung über Aktivitäten in den monatlichen Local-Board-Sitzungen an der Viadrina (organisiert von den beiden Vorsitzenden)
• Mitwirkung bei der Auswahl von Studierendenbotschafter*innen und Projekten
• Mitarbeit an Student Board-Projekten
• Berichterstattung über lokale Entwicklungen an der Viadrina in den Student Board-Sitzungen

Wie wird man gewählt?

Dein Profil:

• Du bist Studierende*r der Viadrina und interessierst dich für diese Position
• Du bist bereit, mit den lokalen Studierendenvertretungen (insbesondere AStA und StuPa) zusammenzuarbeiten
• Du verfügst über ausreichende Englischkenntnisse, um dich im internationalen Umfeld sicher zu bewegen
• Du bringst Motivation, Offenheit und Lernbereitschaft mit und bist bereut zu reisen
• Vorerfahrungen mit ERUA-Aktivitäten oder anderen studentischen Ämtern sind von Vorteil
• Du möchtest gerne international arbeiten

Die zwei gewählten Vertreter*innen und eine Stellvertretung werden dem Studierendenparlament (StuPa)vorgestellt und müssen vom StuPa bestätigt werden.
Die Amtszeit läuft bis Juli 2026, wenn neue Wahlen stattfinden.

Wie kann man sich bewerben?

• Schicke deine Bewerbung (ein kurzes Motivationsschreiben, warum du diese Position möchtest, inkl. vollständigem Namen) an wahlleitung-studis(at)europa-uni.de bis zum 15.11.2025.
• Gib zusätzlich eine ausgedruckte Kopie im AStA-Büro, Große Scharrnstraße 23A, 15230 Frankfurt (Oder) ab.

• sei ein Teil eines einzigartigen internationalen Studierendennetzwerks und arbeite mit Studierenden aus ganz Europa zusammen.
• teile und sammle Studierendenperspektiven zu ERUA-Themen (Nachhaltigkeit, Mehrsprachigkeit, Diversität etc.)
• sei eine Brücke zwischen der Viadrina-Studierendenschaft und dem europäischen Netzwerk
• sammle Leitungserfahrung und verbessere deinen Lebenslauf
• entwickle deine interkulturellen, kommunikativen und organisatorischen Fähigkeiten
• sorge dafür, dass die Stimme der Studierenden in der Gestaltung der europäischen Hochschulbildung gehört wird
• nimm an Kurzzeitmobilitäten in ganz Europa teil (Reisekosten werden übernommen)

What is ERUA?

The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) is a network of eight forward-thinking European universities – including Viadrina – working together to innovatively shape the future of universities in Europe and to rethink teaching and learning as well as research and social commitment from a critical, European and inclusive perspective.

What is the ERUA Local Board?

The Local Board is established local student community, which exists at each ERUA partner university. At Viadrina, all students are part of the local board (see new student regulation, approved by the student parliament “Satzung der Studierendenschaft”). All students at Viadrina are invited to participate in Local Board meetings and elections of Local Board Chairs and ERUA Student Board Representatives. The purpose of ERUA Local Board is to gather students wanting to get engaged in the international community, organize events and represent ERUA values.

What is the ERUA Student Board?

The ERUA Student Board represents the Voice of students from all eight ERUA member universities in ERUA’s decision-making. Each university elects two representatives and one substitute to the Student Board.

The Student Board then elects three of its members for the ERUA Steering Committee (mixed body of Vice Rectors, Administrative Staff representatives and student representatives).

What are your tasks?

• Attend monthly online meetings and at least one in-person meeting per year (travel covered)
• Represent Viadrina students in ERUA’s Student Board
• Advocate for student interests within the alliance
• Collaborate with the ERUA Student Engagement Team
• Report on activities in monthly Local Board meetings Viadrina
• Participate in selecting student ambassadors and projects
• Work on Student Board’s projects
• Report about local updates from Viadrina in the ERUA Student Board meeting

How to get elected?

Your profile:

•  You are a Viadrina student interested in this position• You are willing to collaborate with Viadrina’s local student representatives (esp. AStA, Stupa)
• You possess the necessary English-speaking skills to navigate in an international setting
• You bring motivation, openness, and a willingness to learn, engage and travel
• Some prior experience participating in ERUA activities or other positions as elected representative are highly recommended
• You’re eager to work in the international environment

The two elected candidates for the Student Board Representative positions and one elected candidate for the Student Board Representative Substitute will then be introduced to the Student Parliament (StuPa) and need to be approved by StuPa.

Please note: these positions last until July 2026 when a new election is held.
