The AStA Summer Festival – English version
The AStA Summer Festival is a blend of a sports and family festival in the afternoon and a musical evening program on June 10, 2026, starting at 3:00 PM.
A highlight will be a stage featuring various live music acts.
Additionally, there will be numerous diverse stalls from both university and city initiatives. A variety of food will be offered (including vegan options), such as waffles, cotton candy, a grill, and much more! There will also be small and large-scale games, including Jugger, foosball, a slackline, and XXL darts. The Blue Fangs and the StadtSportBund will be specifically represented at the festival with their own stands.
This year’s summer festival will take place in the traffic-calmed area of Große Scharrnstraße (15230 Frankfurt (Oder))—roughly the stretch from WG-Bar to KUKURYKU!. These local spots will also be selling their goods outdoors, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Various bands will perform throughout the event, including TEN SING from the CVJM and Deluzja, an alternative Polish band that experiments with different genres.
We aim to welcome everyone to this celebration, regardless of age or background. To ensure entertainment for our youngest guests, we are planning a face-painting station, among other activities. Naturally, many students will also be in attendance.
